Ms. Elisheva Aneke is a Program Coordinator with the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) at Emory University School of Medicine, where she leads key initiatives such as the Summer Science Academy and the Emory Premedical Readiness Engagement Program (EmPrep). In these roles, she supports both high school and college students traditionally underrepresented in medicine by organizing hands-on learning experiences, live webinars, workshops, and providing essential resources to help students successfully navigate the medical school admissions process.
Ms. Aneke is an Atlanta native and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Emory University, driven by her passion for language learning. She is fluent in Spanish, conversational in Portuguese, and currently studying Japanese. She later pursued her Juris Doctor (JD) from Indiana University, where she focused on constitutional law, stemming from her commitment to justice and advocacy.
Before joining the OMA team, Ms. Aneke worked as a Program Coordinator for a city-wide Spanish afterschool program, contributing to curriculum development and overseeing enrollment management. She also has experience as a paralegal, labor organizer, and administrative assistant, with a demonstrated dedication to social justice, educational equity, and her cat, Baba Ganoush Aneke.
