Tracey Henry
Faculty Advisor, Office of Multicultural Affairs; Associate Professor of Medicine
Dr. Henry is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University and a clinical educator and attending physician in both inpatient and outpatient medicine. She is the Assistant Health Director in the Grady Primary Care Center and Director of the Health Equity Advocacy Policy track for Emory’s GME programs. She conducts research on health disparities, health policy and the intersection of mental health and primary care on chronic disease.
In the School of Medicine, Dr. Henry serves as a Faculty Student Advisor where she works closely with the Medical Education and Student Affairs Dean’s office as an advocate for students, provides career counseling, effective study skills and connects learners as needed to other SOM academic resources. Dr. Henry is also the Program Director for the Emory EMPACT mentorship program whose mission is to Engage, Mentor, Prepare, Advocate for, Cultivate, and Teach URiM medical students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment; through faculty and peer mentorship along with educational programming to maximize both their professional and personal growth. Finally, she works closely with OMA in support of their pipeline program initiatives.
