Welcome to the Emory Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences! Emory Radiology has a longstanding commitment to excellence and innovation across all academic missions and is renowned for our outstanding clinical care, award-winning educational programs, and groundbreaking biomedical research.
We are a fearless department eager to leverage new opportunities and resources. The incredible Health Sciences Research Building II (affectionately called HSRB-II) is bustling with activity in our labs and centers like the Center for Systems Imaging Core, the Radiopharmaceutical Discovery Program, and many other imaging sciences labs. The state-of-the-art Winship Cancer Institute at Emory Midtown facility is open and our team is providing exceptional patient-and family-centered care. Emory University's massive investment in artificial intelligence (AI) through the AI:Humanity initiative, of which Emory Radiology is a major partner, already is paying off for our faculty, learners, and staff engaged in cutting-edge research. Indeed, the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is well positioned to lead and collaborate across all academic missions.
Yet by far, our department's greatest strengths are our people and our exceptionally collaborative, collegial, and supportive culture. Emory Radiology has a diverse and inclusive ethos purposefully built over many years through attracting top talent globally and through continuous investment in our people. The result is a departmental ecosystem that fosters inquiry and boundary breaking, a dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of our patients and our people, and a passion for advancing the field of radiology.
