Our Faculty Advancement and Engagement team serves and supports our faculty members so they thrive in their work across all our missions: world-class patient care, education, research, and service to the institution, the community, and the profession. Our team, with the support of the department's executive team, strives to create a new level of excellence for work culture focused on open communication, collaboration and innovation so that Emory becomes the best destination workplace. Simply put, we prioritize our people, aiming to recruit, retain and develop the best faculty. We are guided by our departmental core values of people first, excellence, integrity and compassion, inclusiveness, fairness and diversity.

Finally, we believe in advocating for faculty and trainees and their great ideas, amplifying their voices, and helping them develop and reach their goals.
