
Senior Program Coordinator
As a part of the Faculty Advancement and Engagement Team in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Laura Hilado supports faculty professional development through coordination and implementation of initiatives targeted towards career advancement. Her work includes supporting faculty through the promotion and appointment processes and contributing to initiatives aimed at strengthening faculty development and career advancement.
Before joining the team, Laura worked within the Emory College of Arts and Sciences in several roles, including the graduate program coordinator for the Department of Chemistry and the undergraduate program coordinator for the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies. Prior to that, Laura was a lecturer in the Intensive English Program at Georgia State University.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in linguistics and Arabic at Emory University and a master’s degree in applied linguistics and ESL from Georgia State University.
