Pediatric Mentoring Committee
Mentoring is a valuable part of lifelong career development, and the Pediatrics Mentoring Committee is committed to facilitating these important relationships at all levels of need. Whether related to advancing your clinical, teaching, and/or research careers, this diverse committee aims to provide the resources and connections, at both Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, critical to establishing supportive and successful mentor/mentee interactions.
Pediatric Faculty-to-Faculty Peer Mentor Matching Program
This program recognizes the value of mentoring at all career stages by creating opportunities for pediatric faculty to network around key areas of career development. As part of this program, the Pediatrics Mentoring committee will match incoming mentees with a mentor based on the mentee’s goals, career stage, and prioritized areas of mentorship. Areas of mentorship the program aims to cover are: research, clinical/patient care, teaching, promotion, career development, writing/publishing, work-life balance, and leadership/management.
