Mission
The mission of the Emory Alliance for Women in Medicine and Science (EAWiMS), now part of the Office of Equity and Inclusion, is to:
- Promote a culture that supports the academic progress and professional success of women faculty and trainees.
- Network: Make new connections at formal and informal networking events.
- Advocate: Learn techniques to help you effectively communicate with leadership.
- Mentor: Develop skills to help you cultivate successful mentoring relationships as both a mentor and mentee.
- Educate: Attend workshops and seminars on topics specially geared toward the needs of Emory women.
