Satvik is a research assistant focused on two primary projects: using radiomic and pathomic data to classify glioma subtypes, and using radiomic and pathomic data to determine primary sites of brain metastases. Having earned a BS degree in applied mathematics and statistics from Emory University College of Arts and Sciences, Satvik is particularly interested in the use of machine learning in medical imaging.
While an undergraduate, Satvik served as a CPRIT-CURE summer intern at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he assisted with development of R package that uses canonical correlation analysis for identifying differentially expressed genes in single-cell RNA-sequencing data, and built simulation of single-cell RNA-sequencing data to validate R package.
