Application Process and Key Dates
The application window for the Fall 2025 cohort is January 1, 2025 through April 1, 2025. Interviews will take place in early May with the class starting October 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
Recent graduates who are able to meet the minimum requirements for entry into the program as well as experienced nurse practitioners or physician assistants. Applicants must meet the following criteria by the start of each program:
- National board certification as a PA or NP
- GA license for NPs as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- GA license for PAs

Standard Requirements
All candidates must:
- be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, their families and members of the health care team.
- possess the motor function to perform physical examinations and procedures.
- possess cognitive abilities and effective learning techniques to assimilate the detailed and complex information presented in the educational and clinical curriculum.
Required Application Materials
The following supporting documentation will be required to complete your application:
- Statement of Intent: one-page, 12-point font, double-spaced statement describing career goals and reasons for pursuing the fellowship (Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship.)
- Curriculum Vitae: educational background, professional experience, volunteer experience and other relevant information
- Three Letters of Recommendation (Include one from Program Director or current supervisor, if not a new graduate.)
- Transcripts
- Copy of BLS and ACLS cards. This is a requirement for employment and must be obtained prior to start of onboarding process.
