Overview
By learning from world renown physicians, highly respected and published advanced practice providers, top notch nurses and clinical pharmacists, you'll be prepared to be on the frontline of transforming cancer care.
The Emory Hematology/Oncology APP Fellowship offers you the advantage of a guided learning experience and direct patient care within a protected learning environment in order to increase provider confidence and offer a smooth transition to practice.
The aim is to improve patient care by maintaining high standards of quality and safety in clinical practice. With that in mind, you will complete a quality improvement research project while working rotations at various locations including Grady Sickle Cell Center and Winship Cancer Institute's Phase I Clinical Trials Unit and Rollins Immediate Care Center. These locations offer a unique opportunity to experience all aspects of oncology.
In addition, you will have access to a peer mentorship program as well as a wellness curriculum with Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health (CCSH™), a program to bolster the well-being, resilience, and compassion of healthcare patients and staff.
The program does not grant advanced placement. All students must complete all program requirements to graduate.
