Ali Elected to National Academy of Medicine October 2025

Election to the National Academy of Medicine is considered one of the highest honors in health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. 

Kavalieratos named Director of Palliative Medicine Division September 2025

The first non-physician to lead an academic division of palliative medicine in the United States, Dio Kavalieratos, PhD also serves as the Director of Research for the Emory Palliative Care Center.

Kaplan receives 2025 Rising Star Award from Genomic Press June 2025
