PA student receives NCCPA Endowed Scholarship
As the daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico and an Emory University PA student and NCCPA Endowed Scholarship recipient, Yazmin Tenorio Chavarria is on a mission to provide care to Latino and underserved migrant communities. In addition to her studies, she serves as a student representative for the Emory Farmworker Project which provides free health care to farmworkers in South Georgia.
Emory PA Alum Founds Company to Help New Parents Build Perfect "Nest"
Nidhi Reva, MPH, PA-C discovered her passion for women’s health and helping underserved populations during her training at Emory. From starting her own business to volunteering overseas, Reva has built her career on providing high-quality care to expectant parents and underserved populations.
PA Student Honors and Scholarships
Congratulations to Emory PA students Taylor Ellsworth and Bryan Fleischman who were awarded Future Educator Fellowships by the Physician Assistant Education Association.
Congratulations to Alex Millström and Julie Smith of Emory University's PA Program for being awarded PA Foundation Scholarships. The Emory students received 2 of the 14 scholarships awarded nationwide.
PA Students Chosen as HCOP Ambassadors
Through the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the National Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) at Emory prepares students for successful entry into the healthcare field.
