About Me
I grew up in a multicultural household in the sunny city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and have always considered both the UAE and Japan my home. I earned my M.D. at UAE University and had the opportunity to explore healthcare from a different perspective through electives in Japan. I completed my Emergency Medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where I had the privilege of learning from physicians from all over the world. Now, I’m excited to continue my journey in Medical Toxicology with the incredible team at Emory and to gain the tools I need to help advance toxicology care and education back home.

Why Emory EM Med Tox?
What drew me to the program was its strong international exposure and the incredible opportunities for collaboration, especially in public health and research. With my particular interest in understanding how a poison center operates, the faculty at Emory and the team at the Georgia Poison Center felt like the perfect fit.
Five-year Plan
In the next five years, I’d love to be back in the UAE, helping build and grow our national Poison Center and supporting the development of medical toxicology across the region. I’m also considering pursuing an MPH-MBA to better understand how to make a meaningful impact on healthcare back home.
