About Me
Born in Florida, I proudly called the Sunshine State home for the past 25 years. After relocating from Massachusetts, I completed my early education in Venice, Florida. At age 17, I met my wife, Amanda, as we both began our journey into medicine.
We went on to attend the University of South Florida, where I played college ice hockey and earned a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in History. During my gap year, I had the opportunity to work as a medical scribe in a Tampa-area emergency department. It was an experience that solidified my passion and commitment to emergency medicine.
I graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida in 2022 and matched into the Emergency Medicine residency program at USF/HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, where I served as a Chief Resident and proudly completed my training!

Why Emory EM Med Tox?
From the moment I stepped foot in Atlanta, I felt a gravitational pull. The warmth of the faculty, the camaraderie among the fellows, and the vibrancy of the program made it clear this was where I wanted to be. I chose the Emory Medical Toxicology Fellowship because of its strong clinical foundation, incredible exposure, diverse patient population, and exceptional mentorship. The program offers a unique blend of hands-on experience in both hospital and public health settings, and opportunities for leadership development. Emory’s commitment to education, innovation, and service aligns perfectly with my goals of becoming a well-rounded toxicologist and educator while continuing to grow as an emergency physician. I couldn’t be more honored or excited to be part of this incredible team!
Five-year Plan
After completing my medical toxicology fellowship, I plan to work as an emergency physician and toxicologist at an academic hospital, with a focus on education. My goals include innovating and expanding both toxicology and addiction services, while contributing to medical education, and developing outreach projects. I also aim to grow into leadership roles while maintaining balance with my family life.
