About Me
I grew up in a beach town on the East Coast of Central Florida where I enjoyed spending as much time as possible with my family in or near the ocean. Upon graduation, I attended University of Tampa where I received a B.S. in Biological Sciences and ran DII Track and Cross Country. I spent a gap year in Charleston, S.C. as an ER scribe before moving to Miami, FL to attend medical school at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. I was fortunate enough to couples-match with my partner Aaron to Emory University's School of Medicine (we married in 2023!), and I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine as one of the Chief Residents.
The people at Emory are some of the most brilliant, kind, and humble individuals I've ever met and I have learned so much in my time here. I am thrilled to have matched to the Medical Toxicology program, and honored for the opportunity to continue serving my patients and community as an ER doctor and soon as a Toxicologist as well!
Hobbies
- Running

Why Emory EM Med Tox?
I was drawn to this program by the emphasis on managing patients with Substance Use Disorder both on the consult team and in the clinic setting, as well as the opportunities presented through a partnership with the CDC. These aspects, as well as the fantastic attendings and pharmacy colleagues we have here make this an incredibly strong program that I'm honored to be a part of.
Five-year Plan
In 5 years, I plan to be an attending at an academic county hospital working shifts in the Emergency Department, spending time as a Toxicology attending on-service, and working in an outpatient addiction medicine clinic. I plan to continue research work in the area of addiction medicine, and participate in the medical education of residents and fellows.
