Condition: Coverage applies only when residents are acting within the course and scope of their duties as outlined by the Emory University Residency Training Program (See "Exclusions" section).

Tail Coverage: This policy also extends coverage for claims made subsequent to resident’s date of departure, arising from an event that occurred during the period of enrollment.

Important: Requests for individual Verifications of Insurance or Claims History letters should be sent to claims.history@emoryhealthcare.org. Appropriate authorization must accompany the request.

Exclusions: Residents rotating through Grady Hospital, VA Hospital or Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) are not covered by this policy. Residents should reach out to these institutions directly for insurance information.
