Students who attend other medical schools are welcome to submit a visiting student application for up to two four-week clinical rotations at Emory School of Medicine. Please refer to the Visiting Student Policy.
MD and DO Students Currently Attending School in the U.S. and Puerto Rico
MD and DO students attending AAMC Member Medical schools in the United States and Puerto Rico can apply through Visiting Student Learning Opportunities.
A non-refundable $100 application fee, payable through VSLO, will be required.
If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $260 to Emory University.
Emory University Department of Medicine #RYSE Virtual Visiting Clerkship Program
The Emory University Department of Medicine #RYSE Virtual Visiting Clerkship Program is sponsored by the department's Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as a supplement to our regular visiting clerkship program. This competitive program provides mentoring, networking, and stipend support for URiM, fourth-year students from U.S. Medical Schools pursuing careers in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties.
MD Students Currently Attending International Medical Schools
Students who currently attend an international medical school can apply directly to Emory University School of Medicine using International Visiting Student Application.
Please note that a non-refundable $500 application fee will be required. Applications are accepted through August 31. Placement will be for electives from October to February.
If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $4,000 to Emory University.
Degree Program Students Currently Attending School in the U.S. and Puerto Rico
Degree program students in the United States and Puerto Rico can apply directly to Emory University School of Medicine using the Visiting Student Application.
A completed clinical affiliation agreement between Emory School of Medicine and the applicant's home institution is a requirement.
