GHOPE Research

Faculty affiliated with the Global Health Office of Pediatrics at Emory (GHOPE) are highly committed to bidirectional, equitable and meaningful research that can inform improvements in clinical care and public health related to child health. GHOPE faculty are actively engaged in diverse research related to childhood nutrition, neonatal sepsis, mortality prevention, HIV care, climate change, and more. Our faculty have secured funding from the National Institutes of Health (several R01s, three K awards, and large U awards), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and several other extramural private foundations. GHOPE helps foster cross-disciplinary research among faculty and trainees through mentorship and the creation of a rich research environment in which ideas are shared and developed collaboratively. Learn more about GHOPE partnerships here.
