Message from the Division Director
The Division of General Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory is a dynamic and diverse group of clinicians dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Through clinical practice, research, and education, our division serves as a foundation for both current and future healthcare providers.
With over 45 members spanning five hospitals, our team brings a breadth of expertise and interests, ensuring comprehensive care across all aspects of women’s health—from complex obstetric management to menopause care. Our division is committed to fostering professional excellence, enhancing patient-centered care, and advancing primary medical care through evidence-based practices.
We are deeply invested in education, offering learners at all stages opportunities for hands-on experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings at multiple Emory hospital locations. Our residency program emphasizes one-on-one clinical teaching, with immersive training in labor and delivery, as well as in the operating room.
Research and innovation are integral to our mission. Through active participation in clinical research and trials, we strive to expand medical knowledge and contribute to advancements that directly benefit our patients.
