Action Plan

I feel appropriately compensated in my current role

  • JEDI council submitted recommendations to improve compensation transparency for faculty & staff to senior leadership
  • Staff leadership developed a comprehensive plan to reorganize and maximize staff roles for each division and provide staff members with guidance toward future reclassifications and promotions.

Department members feel they can be their authentic selves

  • Focus groups with each division, addressing both faculty and staff concerning JEDI-related topics
  • Evaluate and address JEDI on committees & leadership
  • Creating an environment of inclusion for all divisions
  • JEDI representation from all divisions

Education

  • Institute community medicine Grand Rounds
  • Listening sessions

Training

  • Expand current training to include all divisions
  • Develop education around “how to” report concerns
  • Work with leadership on our internal reporting structure
