***PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION IS NOW MANDATORY***
Emory Graduate Medical Education welcomes and offers visiting resident electives from other institutions for short-term rotations in a broad array of elective rotations that foster growth of medical knowledge through patient care.
Emory GME accepts visiting residents from Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited residency and fellowship programs in the United States. Georgia State Law requires medical trainees (visiting residents) to hold an active Georgia Physician's License or Georgia Residency Training Permit. The GME Office is unable to sponsor J-1 visas for visiting residents.

To request a rotation, submit the completed and signed application to the individual training program.
