Our Mission

To promote diversity and inclusion across all levels of the Department of Surgery, and align with Emory University School of Medicine's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Department of Surgery is dedicated to deliberately fostering institutional equity, diversity, and inclusion by creating leadership opportunities, raising awareness, and providing strategies and tools to bring to life the vision of inclusive excellence on our campus and in the Southeastern United States.
