Our Center brings together a community of movement science researchers, educators and clinicians from across Emory Healthcare, Emory School of Medicine and external partners including the Shepherd Center, Veteran Affairs Medical Center and Georgia Institute of Technology to facilitate research while simultaneously advancing clinical practice. We work to advance a precision rehabilitation model incorporating humanistic artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance care and produce worldclass research.
Our work facilitates a virtuous cycle that links patient-specific interventions to rigorous movement research in an ongoing and iterative process. In this model, clinical care generates knowledge that informs further research which is used to improve clinical care and community engagement.
