Aims
- Serve Society – we attend to population needs at scale while maintaining a special awareness of groups with differing access to care and different baseline health needs.
- Advance Scholarship – we promote iterative improvements in research rigor and integrity within the Movement Science field.
- Facilitate Innovation– we lead the field by ensuring our initiatives embrace novelty, reproducibility and impact.
- Create Community – we bridge areas of scientific knowledge, teaching expertise and practice within Emory University, Emory Healthcare and our surrounding community. All stakeholders are valued, and we strive to incorporate perspectives from across the continuums of health and education, as well as the lived experiences of the populations we serve.
