We believe this will increase creativity, innovation, satisfaction and productivity, ultimately enhancing the quality of care, education and scholarship within the department. The Inclusive Excellence and Community Engagement Award recognizes one faculty member each year who makes tangible and consistent contributions that
- Promote an environment within the department that is welcoming, supportive and nurturing
- Mentor individuals, including women and those from historically underrepresented groups
- Foster inclusion through scholarship, service and education
- Engage in the community with a focus on promoting population behavioral health and preventing adverse outcomes
- Participate in behavioral health related advocacy
