Mission

The mission of the RECM is to promote awareness of issues related to representation and empowerment among the faculty in our department and to provide a source of safety and support, as well as education and other resources. This committee is open to all faculty in the department who share and are inspired by RECM’s mission, including those who have been historically underrepresented.
Objectives

- Provide education to faculty to increase awareness of salient issues, including those pertinent to faculty who have been historically underrepresented
- Broaden representation in the department: actively seek to include individuals from a range of backgrounds and experiences. Provide a mechanism for submitting related concerns (heard by committee)
