Racquel is from the NW Indiana Region and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Ball State University in 2012. She served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for Baseball at California University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest California) and received her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2014. Post-graduation, she worked at College of William & Mary providing care to Women’s Volleyball, M/W Swim & Dive, and Spring football from 2014-2017. Most recently, Racquel worked at Illinois State University where she was sole provider for the Women’s Basketball team in the Missouri Valley Conference of NCAA Division I, where they proudly reached the postseason for the last 5 years. In her spare time, Racquel enjoys spending time with her family and pets, watching sports, being outside in the garden, and exploring the great outdoors.
Griffin Hunt, MAT, LAT, ATC, OTC
Griffin is from Keller, Texas and received both his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Athletic Training at Baylor University. During his time at Baylor, Griffin served as Lead trainer for the Baylor Bear habitat and their live black bears! As well as work with Baylor Track & field, Acro &tumbling and soccer. Additionally, he completed immersions at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and San Diego St. in California. In his free time, Griffin enjoys hiking, rock climbing, reading and live music, His favorite food is empanadas (specifically from empamundo in Irving, TX)
Alyssa Rhodes, MSS, LAT, ATC, OTC
Alyssa is a Cleveland, Ohio native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Akron in 2020. While completing her Master of Sport Science in Exercise Science at the United States Sports University, she gained experience working with VCOM in Blacksburg, Virginia, in a secondary school setting. She soon relocated to Auburn, Alabama and accepted a position with the Hughston Foundation in Columbus, Georgia, where she continued working with high school athletes and while completing her graduate degree in 2023. Shortly after graduating, Alyssa transitioned to the collegiate setting with Auburn University’s Recreation and Wellness Department as well as a local urgent care, further expanding her clinical experience. Outside of work, she enjoys soaking up the sun, cooking Puerto Rican food, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her dogs.
Kathryn Smith, MSAT, LAT, ATC, OTC
Kathryn was born and raised in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Southwestern University in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After spending a year and a half traveling and working as a nanny, she began her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Texas Christian University, where she graduated from in May 2025. The highlight of her graduate experience was completing both a summer and seasonal internship with Baylor University Women’s Basketball. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys trying new recipes and restaurants, going on walks, and taking a trip anytime she gets the chance. Her favorite foods are pad thai and sushi.
Ariauna Washington, MS, LAT, ATC, OTC
Ariauna comes from a military family that now calls Columbus, Georgia. She attended the University of North Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Master of Science in Kinesiology. Ariauna has 6 years of experience working with various sports in both the collegiate and high school settings. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking, taking care of her plant babies, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
