DOM BRIDGE (Building Relationships and Inspiring Development for Growth and Excellence) Mentoring Program
(This program is geared towards New Early Career Faculty Members.)
This program is designed to foster professional growth and development by pairing new early-career faculty members with experienced mentors. Our program aims to provide guidance on academic mission areas as well as support your personal development. Through personalized mentor-mentee relationships, participants will build meaningful connections, and work towards achieving their professional goals.
Eligibility: For the 25-26 academic year, the program is open to all new early-career faculty members within the Department of Medicine and whose start date falls within October 2024 through September 2025.
Program Schedule: The BRIDGE Mentoring Program is a year-long initiative running from October through September, offering participants ample time to build meaningful connections and foster personal and professional growth. For the 25-26 academic year, the program is closed. Enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year will open during the summer of 2026.
How to Apply: All eligible new early-career faculty will be contacted by the Office of Faculty Development to complete an online needs assessment. The needs assessment deadline is September 30th each year.

- Mentoring Agreement - Initial ground rules/foundation for mentor/mentee partnerships
- Individual Development Plan - The IDP serves as a roadmap to help you achieve your short- and long-term professional and personal goals.
- Mentoring Worksheet - For use by the mentee to prepare for review of goals and career conference report. Complete at Career Conference Report meeting and give to Division Director
- PATHS - Helps guide you through additional learning opportunities to aid in your career progression. These guidelines detail suggested targeted accomplishments towards promotion with a specific time frame. Each PATH is divided by career year(s) into best practices and academic mission areas. Useful for mentees and mentors.
