EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMIC INNOVATION AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member or team who have displayed exceptional work and/or produced significant innovations for the Department of Medicine. The innovations will have resulted in meaningful work process improvements and/or work designs.
LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member for his/her exemplary leadership accomplishments and contributions to the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, and Emory University. These nominees have led, served, inspired, and collaborated with broad-ranging impact beyond their regular responsibilities.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member who provides consistent and sustained excellence, exceptional performance, and service to the Division, Department of Medicine, and Emory University. These nominees demonstrate integrity, teamwork, productivity, and customer service.
UNSUNG HERO AWARD
These staff members go above and beyond the routine call of duty with a high level of commitment, initiative, cooperation, and dedication. These nominees are dependable and trustworthy, instill in their coworkers a sense of responsibility and dedication to the university, and exemplify excellence and integrity in workplace relationships, interactions, and decisions.
OUTSTANDING NEWCOMER AWARD
This award recognizes a newly-hired staff member for his /her excellent support and exceptional performance during the first year of employment. These nominees have made significant contributions within their work teams, division, the Department, and/or the School of Medicine despite being employed within the Department of Medicine for one year or less.
EXCELLENCE IN CLINICAL RESEARCH SUPPORT AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member who has displayed exceptional effort and made significant contributions in a role focused on clinical research. Successful nominees are those who have gone above and beyond the normal call of duty to positively impact clinical research studies/trials, provide guidance to less experienced clinical research staff, and support Principal Investigators/Study Sponsors.
EXCELLENCE IN BASIC SCIENCE LABORATORY RESEARCH SUPPORT AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member who has displayed exceptional effort and made signifcant contributions in a role focused on basic science laboratory research. These nominees have gone above and beyond the normal call of duty to positively impact research studies/trials, provide guidance to less experienced research staff, and support Principal Investigators/Study Sponsors.
OUTSTANDING EMORY HEALTHCARE STAFF SUPPORT AWARD
This award recognizes a staff member employed by Emory Healthcare who has provided exceptional support for the Department of Medicine, collaborating with DOM faculty, staff, and learners to advance the missions of teaching, clinical service and scholarship.
