Donias is originally from Albania and moved to Hartford, CT when he was 11 years old. He did his undergraduate training at the University of Rochester where he double majored in neuroscience and European history. He then went to medical school at Frank H Netter SOM at Quinnipiac University and completed emergency medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. He was very involved in the Bobcat free clinic in Bridgeport and Science Friday program during medical school. A self-proclaimed soccer addict, he plays intramural and pick-up soccer games and watches games religiously. He also enjoys traveling, wine tastings, and cooking.
Future plans: Work in an academic center in a mixed ICU unit and ED teaching students, residents, and fellows
