Vision

The Emory at Grady Flourishing Program promotes well-being, resilience and a sense of belonging and community. It is built on the pillars of compassion, supportiveness, inclusivity, cultural responsiveness and access to resources.
Mission
The mission of the Emory at Grady Flourishing Program is to create, implement, advance and evaluate individual, team and organizational level strategies and initiatives that:
- Address and mitigate environmental stressors and traumas associated with distress, secondary trauma, moral distress and burnout
- Improve the well-being of all community members
- Strengthen Emory at Grady teams and partnerships
- Optimize the effectiveness of patient care, education, research and advocacy
Our Initiatives
- Build an infrastructure for the Emory at Grady Flourishing Program that includes an Advisory Committee comprised of faculty, learners, APPs, and staff
- Train and disseminate Emory at Grady peer responders through the We Care Program
- Offer team-level debriefings in response to serious crises
- Advocate for system-level changes to improve the well-being of the Emory at Grady community
- Provide education for the Emory at Grady community related to major wellness concerns
- Launch and sponsor Emory at Grady arts initiatives (e.g., Choir)
- Partner with related groups (e.g., FSAP, EMWell and CHOA You Matter, Healthy Emory, Grady Wellness Leaders)
