Available Positions

The mission of the Urban Health Initiative is to improve the health of and decrease disparities among diverse and underserved populations in Atlanta.

UHI is limited by its organizational capacity, therefore we rely on you (our volunteers) to make an impact. All available positions are open to students, faculty, staff, and community members. If you are interested in a project or role not currently listed, please do not hesitate to contact us as we may have other available volunteer openings.

 

Agriculture Career Collaborative (ACC) Program Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The ACC Program Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Agriculture Career Collaborative program. This role involves coordinating with volunteers, participants, and stakeholders to ensure the program's success and sustainability. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and passionate about agricultural education and career development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement program plans, schedules, and activities.
  • Coordinate and manage program events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program volunteers.
  • Maintain communication with participants, mentors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to the Program Director.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Ensure program activities comply with policies and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze program data for reporting and improvement purposes.


 

Agriculture Career Collaborative (ACC) Program Evaluator

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The ACC Program Evaluator will assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to assess the effectiveness and impact of the Agriculture Career Collaborative program. This role involves working closely with the Program Coordinator and Director to provide insights and recommendations for program improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in program evaluation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement evaluation plans and methodologies.
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from program activities and participants.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present evaluation reports to the Program Director and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of surveys, questionnaires, and other evaluation tools.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of evaluation data and findings.
