MD Admissions - Our Vision and Mission

Our Mission

We work together to recruit and welcome an academically excellent, broadly engaged, and community-focused first-year class of medical students who we believe are committed to improving the health of our world’s communities and will become caring and skilled physicians.

Our Vision

We strive to foster a collaborative educational and working environment and to provide an admissions process that is accessible and inclusive of all applicants.

We aspire to the highest level of professional service, kindness, and respect, and hope to attract applicants who are committed to these same aspirations.

We shall use creativity and innovative tools to deliver our services and engage our community.

Our Objectives

  • Provide clear and helpful information to prospective and incoming students
  • Process all applications in a timely manner
  • Continually review, update, and improve the application and onboarding experience for our applicants
  • Collaborate with each other, our Emory and School of Medicine colleagues, and our vendors to provide the best customer service possible
  • Serve the needs of our Admissions Committee and our student community
  • Serve as a helpful and courteous resource to the Emory community
  • Act with professionalism, respect, and kindness in all interactions and communications
