Biography
Matthew is from Chicago, IL and graduated from Northwestern University, majoring in Biology and Chemistry. During his undergraduate education, he joined the Eisenbarth-Williams lab at Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine. His research focused on immune responses to blood transfusions in preclinical mouse models.
During his graduate training, Matthew intends to research immune responses to infections and cancer. Clinically, he is interested in medical oncology and seeks to use his immunology training in a cancer setting.
Outside of the lab, he enjoys hiking, sports, and carpentry.
