Biography
Marisol Cora-Cruz is an MD-PhD student at Emory School of Medicine, interested in pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology. Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, she graduated from Earlham College with a B.A. in Neuroscience and a minor in Public Health. After graduation, Marisol was awarded a Watson Fellowship, allowing her to spend a year researching quality of life in Latin America and Europe.
As an MD-PhD student, Marisol is broadly interested in improving the health and well-being of older adults. Clinically, she is interested in Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care, and Geriatrics.
Outside of academics, Marisol enjoys baking, reading, attending live music events, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying new experiences.
