Biography
Emily is an MD-PhD student from Lincoln, Nebraska, who attended Georgetown University (BSc Global Health) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (MSc Epidemiology). During her BSc, she interned at the World Health Organization Western Pacific Regional Office in the Philippines. Before starting at Emory, she worked at Imperial College London as a staff researcher in Dr. Jennifer Quint's research group, where she focused on cardiopulmonary epidemiology, and as a teaching assistant for the introductory epidemiology course for Master's students.
She intends to pursue a PhD in Epidemiology. Clinically, she is interested in pulmonology, sleep medicine, or neurology.
