Mission
The Emory Graduate Medical Education (GME) Pride Affinity group is an organization of medical trainees with the following core goals:
- Make Emory a welcoming space for medical trainees who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies.
- Partner with university employee resource groups (Emory Pride Employee Network), faculty, staff, and student affinity groups, especially Emory Medical Alliance (EMA) and the LGBTQ+ Faculty Affinity Group to hold events and engage in mentorship opportunities.
- Seek to engage and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community within the Graduate Medical Education community, Emory University and greater Atlanta.
