As an ABMS MOC Part IV Portfolio Program Sponsor, Emory University School of Medicine MOCQI works with participating ABMS Member Boards to grant MOC Part IV credit to Emory physicians who actively participate and successfully complete approved quality improvement efforts. MOCQI (CME Office) provides a process for formal review of QI projects to ensure they comply with ABMS standards, reports approved QI projects to ABMS specialty boards, and upon completion of projects, and reports individual physician participation to specialty boards for awarding MOC Part IV credit.

If you need Part IV (Improvement in Medical Practice) credit by December 31 of the current year, the deadline to submit a completed project application to us is November 1 to allow for review and approval by Emory and by your specialty board.

First Step

If you are interested in submitting a project application for MOC Part IV Credit, please click on MOC QI Forms (above).  Make sure to complete and send to Shirley Miller providing details of your project.  In addition, you can also access forms for QI Project/Activity Attestation and QI Leader Completion for instructors.  Holly Gooding, MD will review and we will then provide you with next steps.  Pre-meeting project discussion with Dr. Gooding is not required.  However, if you would like a project discussion meeting with Dr. Gooding, please send request to Shirley Miller.
