Fellowship Application Requirements
To apply for our fellowship programs, please carefully review the eligibility criteria and required documentation below.

Eligibility Criteria
Adult Cardiac, Structural Heart, and Robotic Cardiac Surgery Fellowships
- Completion of a cardiac surgery residency
- ECFMG certification (required for international medical graduates)
Advanced Aortic Surgery Fellowship
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency
- Eligibility for board certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
Thoracic Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Fellowship
- Board-eligible or board-certified in thoracic surgery
Required Application Materials
Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:
- Updated Curriculum Vitae
- Include details of your training, relevant experience, scholarly activity, awards, and accomplishments.
- Personal Statement or Cover Letter
- Describe your interest in the specific fellowship program and outline your long-term career goals.
- USMLE/COMLEX Transcript(s)
- ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
- Recent Photograph
- Three Letters of Recommendation
