The patients you serve are diverse and there are a myriad of opportunities to support vulnerable populations. It has been wonderful to be surrounded by such a passionate, kind, generous and energetic team who all have patient care at the core of their mission. Outside Interests: Currently, I love to spend time with my wife and twin boys. My favorite hobby is fly fishing for wild trout in the most secluded streams I can access. The satisfaction of fishing a beautiful pool that few humans have ever visited is hard to rival. I play basketball once weekly when global pandemics allow. It’s my favorite form of exercise and an excellent outlet for my competitive nature. I also love cooking and eating pasta. Of all my hobbies, eating pasta is probably the one I’m best at.

What I Like About Emory/Atlanta: I love that training at Emory gives residents the opportunity to work in different hospitals across the city and work with diverse patient populations. There is a wide variety of cases to learn from with supportive attendings, fellows, and co-residents. I am excited to be back to serve the community where I grew up and continue to explore the Atlanta area!

I like Emory because we get to see such a wide variety of pathology, the faculty is extremely supportive, and you learn by having plenty of hands-on experience.
