Thank you for considering Emory’s Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program. We are thrilled to share more about our Program with you. At Emory, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive, 1-year fellowship that combines hands-on clinical experience with a strong foundation in scholarly pursuits. Fellows gain broad training in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders at several clinical sites, including Emory Healthcare, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), and the Atlanta VA Health Care System. You will also explore specialized areas such as Obesity Medicine, Surgical Sleep Medicine, Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Whether your career focus is clinical or more academically oriented, we will support your development as a masterful Sleep Medicine Physician. Our program is built on a commitment to helping fellows grow both clinically and academically. We encourage you to dive into meaningful research under the guidance of our experienced faculty, with the expectation of completing at least one scholarly project during your fellowship. Our Program also offers a quality improvement curriculum, culminating in an individual or group quality improvement project to be completed by the end of your fellowship year.
Alongside your clinical and research training, you will also be part of a supportive, collaborative environment. Our weekly conferences, including case discussions, journal clubs, and guest speakers, keep us connected and engaged in the latest advancements in our interdisciplinary field. You will have the opportunity to teach and learn from other trainees, faculty members, and other professionals, making for a dynamic and enriching experience.
