Funding Announcement Cecile Lahiri Receives K24 Award

Cecile Lahiri received a K24 Award from the National Institutes of Health's National Heart Lung and Blood Institute for a project titled Mentoring in Sex and Gender-Informed Multidisciplinary Research on Cardiometabolic Comorbidities in Persons with HIV. The goals of this study are to explore new methods to identify markers of cardiovascular disease in people living with HIV, expand understanding of the intersection between sex and gender science, and build a patient-oriented research mentoring program which will guide the next generation of leaders exploring cardiometabolic comorbidities.
