The Emory Division of Cardiology offers many scientific and medical education events each month for our trainees, faculty, and staff. We also host several patient-centered education events at various Emory Healthcare facilities throughout the year.
The division also welcomes graduates of Emory’s Cardiology Fellowship Program to join us for events at national cardiology conferences and at the annual Hurst/Logue/Wenger Cardiovascular Society event. For medical professionals interested in continuing medical education credit, we offer free online CME programs as well as live CME programs.
Online CME
Emory offers free online CME credits to physicians. Physicians can receive the CME credits by watching an archived cardiovascular grand rounds presentation and answering a few short questions. The cardiovascular lectures are given by Emory cardiology faculty and physicians outside of Emory.

In addition, cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death and disability in the U.S. As a result, much of the burden of caring for patients with cardiovascular disease will fall on primary care physicians. This meeting is designed to provide an update in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease for primary care providers.
