Research Coordinator/Genetic Counselor
Alaena Lim is a board-certified genetic counselor and research coordinator specializing in lysosomal storage diseases. She received training as the 2022-2023 Paul M. Fernhoff Genetic Counseling Fellow. She sees Fabry and Niemann Pick C patients as well as individuals flagged on newborn screening for X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy. She also coordinates clinical research studies, primarily those pertaining to Fabry disease and classic metabolic conditions.
