Primary care has always been my calling. There’s something deeply fulfilling about the continuity of care and forging lasting connections with individuals over time. Additionally, I find myself drawn to the variety that family medicine offers. I enjoy experiencing new cultures, exploring diverse cuisines, and meeting people from all walks of life. Most of all, being the first point of contact in patient care truly resonates with me. I look forward to working together with my patients to achieve their health goals in a sustainable way.
Growing up in Atlanta, I always dreamed of one day working at Emory. I had heard about the incredible patient care and strong academic resources as a child, and after volunteering for a summer as a college student at the Winship Cancer Institute, I personally saw how everyone played their part in making patients feel incredibly well taken care of. From the moment I interacted with the Family Medicine program, I knew I would thrive here. Everyone was overwhelmingly supportive, kind, and went out of their way to help me. As a Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and English speaker, I plan to translate my love of food, culture, and people into quality primary care, and work on being a physician who understands and advocates for my patients. After almost ten years away, I am thrilled to be returning to Atlanta and beginning this next chapter at Emory!
