I chose Family Medicine because of my personal experiences growing up in a country with limited
medical resources. Witnessing the impact of inadequate healthcare delivery highlighted the critical role of primary care, especially in underserved communities. This experience inspired me to pursue a path where I could not only treat medical conditions, but also address the social factors that influence a person's overall health. By integrating clinical care with an understanding of these barriers, I am driven to achieve the best outcomes for both my patients and the communities I serve.
Emory stands out to me as the ideal institution to foster both the knowledge and the skills necessary to tackle these complex challenges. I am committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces for every patient, and I am excited to grow alongside the Atlanta community as I work toward becoming the best possible provider for those in my care.
