I chose family medicine because I love that it offers me the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to diverse patient populations irrespective of their backgrounds, ages, or socioeconomic challenges. I love the relationship-based care Family Medicine embodies. I am looking forward to working with and advocating for my patients to achieve their health and wellness goals.
From my interactions on interview day and beyond, it was apparent that Emory offers full-spectrum training and will support me in exploring my interests in Family Medicine. The diversity in the faculty and residents also drew me to this program. I am excited to be part of a program that supports residents’ goals while promoting wellness, values diversity, and cares for underserved populations.
