"One of my main long-term goals as a primary care physician is to help eliminate some of the biopsychosocial barriers that limit patients from fully understanding their disease processes and taking an active role in the continuity of their care. Throughout my training, I have learned that no matter how vast the amount of medical knowledge you gain, you must be able to connect with, and fully understand all aspects of a patient’s life to successfully treat the patient. The responsibility of eliminating these barriers that often prevent patients from taking an active role in their health lies with us as healthcare providers. Now as a practicing primary care physician, it is still my goal to aim towards providing my patients with a full-spectrum practice that provides care based on continuous healing in the context of family and community."
