Learn About Our Program

1st Year of Simulation Program Our simulation curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide students with a solid foundation in clinical knowledge and skills. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, students will engage in realistic simulations throughout the first three semesters of the program.

2nd Year of Simulation Program As students progress into their second year, our program integrates teaching skills labs and simulated scenarios to offer an immersive, well-rounded learning experience that complements their clinical training they are receiving during their clinical rotations.

Inter-professional Simulation Opportunities Beginning in their first year, our simulation program offers students the chance to collaborate with peers from both the School of Medicine and the School of Nursing, fostering interprofessional education. Our senior AA students and graduating anesthesia residents come together to practice teamwork and communication during simulated emergency scenarios in the OR, providing a unique opportunity to strengthen interprofessional collaboration in high-pressure situations.

Workshops & Courses Various objective driven workshops and courses are provided at the simulation program involving both content experts and professional vendors.
