From Being to Belonging
Diversity and Inclusion Week is a school-wide celebration of the broad range of identities and experiences that make up our diverse community. This year's programming will center around advancing results from the Diversity Engagement Survey (DES), specifically the area of “Sense of Belonging”. The DES showed an increased demand for a better sense of belonging in our School of Medicine community, and this year’s program will enhance this need while continuing to build on last year’s theme of taking action.
Join us for engaging lectures, cultural activities, an art gallery and a SOM Block Party to bring the community together and help advance us from Being to Belonging. Additionally, there will be opportunities to showcase the incredible diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work our remarkable students, trainees, staff, postdocs, and faculty do year-round. Registration closes May 19.
